What's the benefit of adding graphene to a pillow?
Graphene is a naturally conductive mineral. When infused into memory foam, it acts like a heat sink – actively pulling thermal energy away from your head and neck and dispersing it away through the pillow. Regular memory foam traps your body heat and gets softer as it warms up. Graphene moves heat away so you stay cooler, so the foam maintains its support throughout the night.
How is the 24/7: TENCEL® Fusion:Graphene Pillow different to the Sleepyhead 24/7 TENCEL® FusionGel® Pillow?
Both Sleepyhead 24/7 pillows offer superior thermal performance, using different technology. The FusionGel pillow uses gel particles to absorb and conduct heat. The Graphene pillow uses graphene particles, which are more thermally conductive than gel – meaning it pulls heat away faster and more efficiently. The 24/7 Fusion:Graphene pillow also features a Tencel + OptiCool cool-to-the-touch cover, while the FusionGel uses a TENCEL knit cover. If you sleep very hot, the Sleepyhead 24/7 Fusion:Graphene pillow is a great option for you.
What is a cool-to-the-touch cover?
The cover of this pillow is a combination of TENCEL® and OptiCool fabric. TENCEL® is derived from eucalyptus fibres and naturally wicks moisture. OptiCool is engineered to feel cool when it touches your skin. Together, they create a surface that stays noticeably cooler than standard cotton or polyester covers.
