As heat is absorbed, a cooling effect occurs; as the heat source is removed, stored energy releases. This continuous cycle manages temperature for more comfortable sleep. Originally developed for space use, KülKōte infuses New Zealand made foam with proprietary microcapsules via a breathable, non-toxic, water-based polymer. The microcapsules change state from liquid to solid when heat is applied or removed, with these changes triggered at specific temperatures to aid regulation.
